Diamond are we talking of the inlet manifold or the throttle body????? I can't see Missusbitchy recalling Tritons to do this as a fix! So far, the only member that I am aware of on this site to have an engine failure is DLW.............

I N L E T M A N I F O L D

If you do not have the inlet manifold changed you will suffer engine failure at a later date.
Will be interesting to see how long it takes for Mitsubishi to get the inlet manifolds into Australia and do the recall.

Mitsubishi have no understanding of customer service. Speaking to the macadam brings a better response.
Mitsubishi advertising they have the best customer service is a fraudulent lie. Mitsubishi customer service could not possibly be any worse. Mitsubishi don't have or offer any customer service. The 1300 number you get a stupid sheila that is a call centre contracted by Mitsubishi. This call centre is only there for pretend purposes and to fob off customers. The call centre is totally disinterested in you as a customer with a problem. They get paid to piss you off the phone. Nobody will ever call you back under any circumstances and nobody will attend to your problem. Up until now I have been totally patient.
Who you going to call owning a Mitsubishi, well try Ghost Busters in Siberia as that is how much interest Mitsubishi Australia has after you purchase their vehicle. Shame really as overall they could be the best 1 tonne ute in Australia. Trouble in a new vehicle is not unknown but all you want is to have it fixed properly and correctly without extreme aggravation. You want to hear when something is going to happen. Everybody associated from the dealerships up tells lies to fob you off and get rid of you for another week.
Mitsubishi dealers are ill equipped in every manner compared to other franchise dealer. Shame really as Mitsubishi at this point in time would have the best range of vehicles they have ever had in the market place. Besides the best range, probably some of the best vehicles as well, all let down by NO customer service and franchise dealers that are not up to backyard standards.

Big call there diamond_star - where has this quote come from? The 3.2 DiD has been around for a while under the bonnet of Pajeros and this is the first I've heard of potential engine failures?

PS have you re-registered with another DiamondStar name, or are there now two?! :?:

It could have been useful to you, all. However, due to the incredibly rude uncouth 'people' that always are a percentage and frequent a public forum the rest have to suffer. The bannings should be the failed non achieving runts that always spoil it for everybody and call people names like grade 1 children. Pathetic in the extreme, and sadly some small minds find it amusing <sigh>
The pictures of the new manifold do look innovative. The Mitsubishi "R" Tech Notice is interesting reading.

O.k.

So, feel like posting said tech notice to a group of uncouth 'people'?

And for future reference - POSTING IN CAPITALS INFERS YOU ARE A YELLING and is not a nice way to reply to a genuine question.
Cheers
Mark

Hey Diamond_star, this rude and dismissive reply is the problem.
It always amazes me that the people who so easily turn into wankers and can't see that what they wrote is rude, also have the thinnest skin and are easily offended.
If you are offended by the replies here then I wish you good day and a big % u c k y o u v e r y m u c h for your half arsed message thread.

(subi you can delete this thread any time you feel like it....... or a least delete my post if it is too harsh, cause I've been sucked in and cant stop myself from posting......)

Please tell me that IPs are logged, otherwise we'll get more and more trolls, why copy someone else's username?
I'll believe mr undescore is real when 'they' put a photo on their profile of them standing on one leg with 'Troll' written on their back right hand.
