hi there
mattz if you still a member how did the temps go on the new radiator . Iam thinking about doing the same mods because my temps towing the caravan with the boat on top went to 98c on the scan gauge going up the mountain on the guider hwy and I think that is to high at a regular occurrence when towing I would like about 92c .and I had the ecu remapped and the exhaust replaced and the recall done .

Hey Mattz
Just wondering how you ended up going with this radiator. I have been having similar issues and considering getting one of the same radiators.

I've a pwr radiator, oil temp sensor, trans temp sensor and egt gauge. I also have an intercooler in and out temp gauge, boost boost and air fuel ratio guages.

I have an auto and fully loaded, probably circa 2.7t +, going uphill on 40c plus days I would redline the radiator temp gauge.
I added a bigger trans cooler, an engine oil cooler from pwr, water injection , pwr radiator, vented the bonnet. Engine was also tuned.

Tuning helped with the egts. I think my egts were higher than normal because I run lpg fumigation too, more fuel, more heat. The major factors building up heat, based on the gauges were the trans oil temps and the egt. The trans runs through the side of the radiator and the torque converter builds massive heat. I've seen 130c++ plus in the hills.

I added a torque converter lock up. Trans oil Temps sit around 60c - 70c now Goin uphill.

This will be my first summer with these modifications though....

first almost summer results with the new radiator can be downloaded here

Unloaded outdoor air temp in the mid 20s.

max temp 93c going uphill. How does this fare ?
Real test will be a 40c day fully loaded.

oil temp maxed at 100c briefly, but spent most of its time between 70 and 90c

torque converter lockup was left off to allow it to generate additional heat. Going steep uphill i kept it in 5th and floored it to pump up the EGTs just past 500c. air fuel ratios dropped briefly to around 16 before recovering when the turbo kicks in
