Postby Matt100 on Tue Jun 18, 2019 10:01 am

Hi my crank shaft pully is rubbing on the timing belt cover which has caused all the other belts to be out of alignment, which is creating a hideous noise how can I confirm what is the cause before I purchase a new pully as it is $415....thanks

Crankshaft pulley is the harmonic damper, so its parts have seperated, replacement only option.

Dayco power bond unit should cost around $200 Australian paesos and should last better than the original.

Just make sure the puppy is torqued down correctly.
