Diff compatibility

Postby RockoWallaby on Sat Nov 12, 2022 3:10 am

Hi folks
Have a front diff from a MN Triton planning on selling.
Can anyone confirm what models it's also compatible with, so can advertise it correctly?
ML, MQ, etc?
Appreciate the info

Need to know what ratio it is Rocko. Possible it is compatible with others but there were a range available in each model.

Chuckles. Of course there would be. Any suggestions how I find out? Just needed a drive shaft on it and it's complete otherwise, so just want it gone.
Haven't even unwrapped it from the small pallet my mechanic received it on.

Sometimes the ratio is printed on the housing or found in the axle code from the vehicle it was from. Also you'll need to identify if it's a actuator or non actuator front diff, all ML's and early model MN's were actuator type and the later MN's were non actuator. Easily identify from the outside of the diff.
