Whirring noise from front end. MN triton

Hi there.
I've got an issue with the front end of my 2013 MN triton that has me a little stumped.
I bought the the car 3 months ago with the noise there, thinking it was simply a wheel bearing, but after I replaced them on the front and the swaybar links and bushes, wheel alignment and balance, the noise is still there.
I have scanned through the site looking for possible fixes but so far nothing matches.

There is a whirring noise and a slight vibration that starts at around 40km and gets progressively worse until about 70km-80km. Then the road noise drowns it out.

I'm running standard suspension with 265/75/16 tyres on steel king's wheels.

The noise was there when I had The standard wheels and 245/70/16 tyres fitted but the noise came on between 50kms and 80km - 90kms... A slight difference.
I had a mechanic check the centre bearing in the tail shaft and the diff bearings and even he was stumped, he mentioned it might be just uneven wear on the tyres.

The only other thing that might play a part in this was that The standard bash plate was bent in when I checked it( but those bash plates will bend if you look at them funny)

My next thoughts are
Ball joints
Bent axle
Control arm bushes
Cv's

I'm new to the site and to tritons in general so any thoughts on what this could be would be helpful.

What tread pattern are your tyres?

From what you've described, things going through my mind include

Harmonic balancer, crook CVJ or bent shaft as well as possibly a crook disc brake rotor.

With the bent bash plate, I'd start by checking the rotors. May be something stuck in the vents.

Are we talking chunky tyres then? With big tread?

Didn't think of the rotors. I'm get them looked at and machined now.

While it's up on the houst I did notice There's is some grease around the CV boot that connects to the hub on the drivers side
It could of run dry but would that cause a whirring noise?
Hmmmm. Well that is next on the " what could it be list" I guess.

They are chunky but the tread is more of a road style than a mud style.

So I've gotten the rotors machined and no change.
Cv's next thing to check.

Take it to a mechanic and get it diagnosed. Even if you have to pay him an hours' labour it will work out cheaper than chasing your tail fixing stuff that it might be, but probably isn't.

I agree with you on this. I'm not a fan doing things that don't need to be done.

Before posting here I did take it to one mechanic who thought it was the left wheel bearing so he replaced it.
Didn't change.
He Suggested wheel balancing, alignment and rotation.
Didn't change
After that I took it to another mechanic who thought maybe it might be the right wheel bearing ( neither bearing had play in them but maybe just faulty).
Still didn't fix it.
Then he went over the whole under side checking tail shaft bearings and other stuff.
He finally said it might just be tyres.

There is a damaged CV boot which makes me think it might be that.

There's no play or movement that shouldn't be there.
After that mechanic looked at it and couldn't figure it out, That's when I decided to post here to see if anyone had had a similar problem.

Planning to replace the CV this weekend so fingers crossed.

Did you ever found out what caused the Whirring noise??? i currently am also experiencing this situation right now.
