I don't have one on my Triton, but have experience with vehicles fitted with them.
I wouldn't think you would have the locker engaged for high speed driving.
They work awesome and your Triton would climb like a billy goat with one on, but they are a slow crawl type of thing. Takes a while to get used to going a lot less than half the speed you previously would attack a hill climb, but that is what you have to do. They just crawl you up.
If you go too hard and the front bounces a lot while wheel spinning, they can break axles when the weight lands back down on them.
Some debate on here on the benefits of rear locker over front, but I am firmly in the camp of rear LSD and front locker is the ultimate climbing package for our vehicles - unless you have both front and rear
