Your computer should store the code, which can be retrieved by the dealer with their Scantool thingumy (technical term). Did the engine stop or anything when the light came on?

My Triton has been doing that for a while now . 07 diesel
I have a smart gauge so I can read the reason and it comes up as MAP
Which is manifold air pressure. I think it has something with the sensor in the top part of the manifold which is being replaced by dealers when the manifold part is replaced.
I have a service due soon so I will have it checked then.

Mine pops on and off every couple of days.

In my case it is due to the fuel reader not recognising the Lpg as real fuel and throwing the light on.

After a few hours or sometimes days it turns off again until it decides the Lpg is crap again.
