They might take it, but for how long?

The new Aisin auto box on the Pajero (and Pajero Sport) is the same as the Parado box and it's rated for 500Nm. The boxes used in the Tritons aren't as good as that one so, if you're running very high torque expect some problems at some point down the track.

Of course there's a safety factor built in to any manufacturer's specification, but you don't know how much this is.

With regards to reduction gears.
MN GLX 11/13 build date. Manual
How do you determine what "generation" gears to order from Marks?

is this what I want
Mitsubishi Gen2 Low Range Gears 66% - 3.15:1 Reduction - Manual

Mitsubishi low range gears - ratio 3.15:1 - manual gearbox

To suit:

Generation 2 transfer case - 27 tooth (spline) input gear

Montero
Pajero
Shogun
Triton
Delica
L200, L300

I'm edho from Indonesia, in indonesia domestic market there's a 3 type MQ triton,

1. Exceed (1:3917 FG ratio)
2. Gls (1:4111 FG ratio)
3. HDX (1:4661 FG ratio) also known base model

I would like to replace 34 inch tire so that would require a lower gear ratio, anybody know about this issue?

Is that possible I change the gear ratio?
The best final gear ratio for a 34 inch tire is 1:4661 which is that's a HDX FG's..is that possible I change a HDX FG to my exceed MQ triton?

Anyone know the answer to this because I'm keen on some reduction gears. 09 2.5 MN Manual
Marks has both the 66% and 40% in stock as of today but say the only way to identify if theirs will fit in to drop the case and measure the input gear.

For what its worth I've got a 12 bolt diff centre, no LSD. I've done a VIN look up to identify the OEM axle and further enquiries confirm it is a 31 spline axle so that means the centre must be 9.5"
The diffs in these things are all over the place and that is why I want some confirmation if Marks reduction gears will suit before shelling out. I'm not keen on dropping the transfer case on spec.
Anyone care to chime in?

I recently got the Marks 2.7:1 gears fitted. The workshop I use has fitted a number of them in other Tritons and they had to open the transfer case and check the spline before ordering the correct kit.

It looks like you will need to do similarly.

If I change the rear diff from 3.6 to 3.9, do I need to change the front? if it's optional, is there any advantage in doing so?

Not if you don't mind the two ends, turning at different rates, destroying your transfer case / gearbox.
