Just attempted this set up...easy as! I took a short cut and bought a normal AUX Cable(female to male)...cut of the female end and attached the computer cable...wired her up and ran the male end up through the glove box, not as neat as seen above but when im not using the cable it stays coiled up in the glovebox anyways! Whole set up took about 20 from start to finish BUT(as per usual).....Is there any reason why only the left side speakers produce vocals??! Right side works but there is no acutal voice coming out?

Are you running an amp or aftermarket head unit VC?

My install of ipod jack & centre trim removal

Postby dan.batto on Mon Mar 26, 2012 8:04 pm

Anyone still got the instructions for this. I'm trying to remove the iPod cable thingy but am struggling to work out how to remove it from the loom end. From memory you lifted the centre of the plug(locking device) and then pull out. Is there another trick to removing or something I need to do so as I can remove it?
