Which one did you buy that had a jiggle valve in it then?

I just drilled the hole and no more airlock issues and temps over 7 degrees better now.

The two threads I wish people would use more: thing 1 and thing 2.

it was a dayco brand m8 from repco
i just cut the valve off easy as my one in the car wasnt opening very much
and had no jiggle valve

Just a little reminder, anytime you have drained and refilled the coolant you need to leave the pressure cap off the radiator and let the engine idle until it reaches operating temperature and burps out any air in the system.........then top up and put the cap on.
