Did you have to sew it on?

After replacing the leather steering wheel twice over two years and trying out all sort of covers to protect it, I just replaced it with the glx steering wheel. Was not a big fan of disintegrating bits of leather every time I drove the car or ripping the leather off when removing steering wheel cover. :(

Earlyninja... Just give it time mate. A bit of sun damage and sweaty/dirty hands and your GLX steering wheel will be falling apart as well. The top of mine is slowly disintegrating and it's quite annoying. Although I do assume that it'll last a fair amount longer than the Leather one before it does start for you.

Showing your age matts....went straight over the old one....I had the hole /worn bit taped up with lecy tape for a while ...so it made it nice and flat for the new cover...been on for a week now...every time I drive it ..I get a pleasant surprise and I'm back to my old habits of palming the wheel..

Thanks mate.
Mine isn't badly worn but it is worn a bit.
I was thinking the thicker steering wheel would feel nicer anyway. 8-)
