The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything important, it's too late to stop reading it.

Ok, pick mine up tomorrow. Will be powder coated black with white detailing insert for the writing, the continued swirl of the "b" will be welded into the backing plate so will fill the hole that's there.

A local guy in Canberra made it of 4mm steel 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-)

I went 316SS Marine grade as apparently that is the strongest in 3mm Paid around $280 for my set made up the road.

Sorry snowie i've already fitted them! They went on like a dream no trimming or modifing. The gusset underneath is already very strong in my mind. I think if you are at risk of snapping that mount your gonna do some serious damage to the plates anyway. I made up some stronger mounts but decided against fitting them till they break....if they ever do! I like the stainless look with GLXR cut in!

Well i printed Buzzys pdf out and took it to the local sheet metal works, and asked them for a quote etc, they came back to me with $145 using 2.5mm Plate. Is this going to be thick enough? I cant see how 2.5mm will differ from 3mm. Can anyone else see a problem using this thickness? Will be painting over with yellow or light blue. :D
