Replacement Key Transponder type

Replacement Key Transponder type

Postby rovinrover on Sat Jan 03, 2015 5:28 pm

Hello,
does anyone know what type of transponder chip in the key a 2011 Triton will take
Found a site selling keys but the list 2 types of transponders.
A "46 chip" or "4D-61" chip.
I have looked in my key but surface of transponder is 2 scratched to clearly read.
Thanks

I just pulled my key apart but the only numbers I can see on the transponder is. PCF7936AS With VH48 underneath. Otherwise you may need to get a whole remote and get it programed by a locksmith.
Hope that may help you.
