I would ask them to check the level and show u as we have had a couple of failures over here due to that reason. One even locked up at 100kmh next time your at the sc just ask them nicely for piece of mind as its been documented that some are coming out low from the factory.

Dave: I feel like adding the 2T doesn't really affect it that much. Although it still occurs, but I would say that maybeeeeee it is lesser than before

Found this on a Chevy forum, where the noise and condition is almost 100% similar to mine. Noticed as well that it consistently happens at 2500RPM+- rev range. So, it does sound like something to do with the EGR.

Anyone who can guide on how to check the hoses and which hoses should be checked for buzzing, rattling?

Hi guys,

I posted another video which is hopefully clearer.... buzzing noise now is consistent at around 2500RPM, if I manage to keep at 4th gear and maintain the revs at that number, the buzz is continuous and no longer just short buzzes.

I must be too deaf I'm afraid mate. :( :( I can hear the engine, what sounds like maybe exhaust noise or snorkel intake noise and some sort of fluttering sound which might just be wind or the microphone moving a bit but I can't make out the buzz separately.

Ah, man... yeah... I know it'll be hard to hear from videos like this... looks like I'm on my own on this.. will try to figure it out I guess. Any tips on identifying noise though?

Can you get it while stationary revving it in neutral? Or only when running?

I don't hear it that much on stationary revving. More noticeable when running

Well, I'm gonna check the transmission fluid and see if it's a tranny problem/lack of fluids or something like that...

If you can hear it at all on stationary revving then you can rule out the diff and driveshaft and stuff like that. What I was going to suggest was that you could have someone else rev it while you got under the hood to have a closer listen.

OK, I will try it today. If I can't hear it during revving? then maybe it's a diff or those things you mentioned?

Just checked the AT fluid, it was way over the 2 indicators way above the HOT lines. The fluid also was bubbly and was not pink/clear, more brownish red. Should I be worried

Best suggestion I can offer is are there any other Tritons around where you live? A short ride/drive in a similar make and model would soon tell you if yours was normal or not.

Thanks... there are of course... but it's sort of like.... strangers? hahaha... it'll be really weird if I walked up to one fella and said, "Hi, I have yadayada with my Triton, mind if I bring yours for a short spin to test it out?" hahahaha

well, if I see any willing souls around, I'll definitely ask and give it a go.
