Mn glxr rear window removal

I've had to do it
I cannot remember but I think I removed everything (liners) as there was a hidden attachment/ bolt that kept it from coming out

All I remember is it was a bugger, thinking that should be it, I should be able to get it now, that should be it
Getting Out There
Sucks to be you, glad I bought a 3.2 :o

i think you will have to remove all the side trim as well as the lower trim and even pull back the headlining a little from memory. There are three (i think, might be two but i think 3) nuts to undo which hold the window in. When i did it for my ML (same) i removed the seat as well. it is a bit of a pain.

be careful not to break the glass but it is in a moulded plastic type frame. also make sure you use a non sticking sealant when you replace. especially at the top where the roof fold is or it will leak. don't over tighten.

if you use a sticking (drying) sealant you will never get them out again. You may think you never want to again but if they leak you will.
This car is like a bad drug habit. It is taking all my money and time, my family are concerned, but new mods just feel sooooooo good.
