Legend Jacko, know it has been done but with the DIY superb. What did you use to cut down the actual step??? 1mm cut off wheel??

yes a 1mm cut off wheel with the angle grinder. it would be easy if i had a press but the sheet metal joint is on the other side of town. Thanks for the pat on the back guys
