use a BRAND NEW crush washer when installing your Fumoto valve.
This car is like a bad drug habit. It is taking all my money and time, my family are concerned, but new mods just feel sooooooo good.

Fitted my fumoto today when I dropped the oil at 7666km. great little unit and will be a piece of cake to do changes in the future. This is the F106N. I have site sponsor Prestige/custom bashplates and as the pictures show there is still plenty of clearance on the hose "nipple" for anyone that was worried about that.

Not great pics but you get the idea. I used a 19mm open end spanner on the square body of the valve to nip it up tight as the 17mm brass hex section below is pretty soft and I wasn't confident putting too much weight on it. I'll have to drill my bash plates another day or just get a hose with a 90 degree bend to bring it out the side of the plates.

Sorry to drag up an old topic. I've emailed EZ Oil who are now selling these valves. They've given me a part number for an MN Triton but say I may also need an extension piece if the sump hole is recessed. I'm planning on getting it fitted at my next servic in a fortnight. Does anyone know if the hole is recessed or if just the valve without the extension adapter will be fine.

Thanks.

Hi Pearcie45. I have fitted one of these EZ-106 and H-001 hose end to my mn 2011 glxr. Works great and makes it alot easier to drain the oil.

I have also attached a small clear hose to it so I don't need to take off the bash plates

Good idea. I'll get the mechanic to do the same. I'm guessing it would be hard to access otherwise? Is there room to open the Valve? I should probably just get under and look!

I only have stock bash plates, but yes you can access the valve.

Part number is the 106..also have a choice of straight or 90degree exttension fitting for the hose...as i have a ml glx 3.2, i went the 90 degree to get the hose out from under the bash...if your plug is recessed, then you will need the adapter as well..all up, valve, 2x extensions and clear hose...was aaround $62 from ezidrain
