I find the auto adjusts are useless on most vehicles, so agree with Biggibbo 5000km. I clean out dust and adjust during tyre rotation. During adjustment I Push on brake pedal to bed up pads and spin wheel to check for grab. Even adjustment is Safer and longer life.
Many people have a bad habit of resting the foot on brake padal when going down hills.
I back off before I have to stop. My wife seems to be oblivious to corners and red lights tell she gets right up to them then slams the brakes on to stop
