They look pretty cool, especially the side biters.

Mate they are fantastic, compared to my worn down wranglers they shot all over them, no slipping so far am very stable around corners

Whats the road noise like. Would these be worth getting if your doing more road driving then on the dirt?

Noise is less than my good year wranglers I had, I can't believe how little noise there is

Give it time. They'll start to howl soon enough

It's good to hear these tyres are performing well, as they're within my budget should I go for a second set of wheels and tyres 8-)

Kanati/Summit Trail Hogs

Postby DLT on Thu Apr 30, 2015 5:27 pm

Hi Guys - just trying to find out if anyone is running Summit / Kanati Trail Hogs. I have seen a few reviews on the Mudhogs but cant find anything on the Trail Hogs. I am after an aggressive AT but don't really need a M/T.
Just not sure how this tyre will last if it is designed as a snow tyre - i would have of thought that it would be a softer compound to grip & that might not work in QLD?

I'm currently using a procomp x-at which are very aggressive looking. They're about $300 a corner and so far have been well wearing with little noise.

Can't help on the kanati though.. just another option which might suit.

Cheers... If you are in this area, see the guys at Hacketts in Coopers Plains for your tyres (although I suspect you might already being looking there as I know they do the Kanati).
