I have tried numerous tyre/rim supplies all over the country to get a pair of these for the tri-trailer, but they are no longer made and there are non left in the stores....bugger!

What? Toyota wheels on the Paj? :o  Nah, Speedy Grande, one of the few that will fit over those big brake calipers.

I also have Speedy Grandes for my daily drive tyres. +25 offset. $450 on Gumtree. Loads more options than ebay when I was looking.

My uncle rocked up in his 2008 Prado the other day and he had the identical Speedy Grande wheels, so I'm guessing they were a factory Toyota fit.

Not identical, but very, very close. Mine are 17x8, ET +42. Could get maybe +30 on the wheel but spare carrier has minimal room.

FWIW the workshop Hilux on site fitted a set of the Achillies around the same time as a couple other LV's were fitted out with ST Maxx's.

I've been keeping an eye on them and have a check every time I walk past. A yr on the Achillies are holding up a shed load better than the Coopers. Minimal chipping and visually less wear. They all do about the same Km's on site.

Be interested to see how you find them.

They're just play tyres...but quite happy so far. Grip is good in the sloshy stuff. Ordinary on road.

They look good 8-) powder coat them for about $70 a wheel.
I hate to advocate drugs, sex, alcohol, violence, or insanity to anyone, but they’ve always worked for me.

Thanks Dave, totally confused...so are you saying before that I can't go any bigger than the 265/70/16 I have on if I wanna stay legal. Am looking at the Ballistic Jester black wheels, which are gorgeous..so do I go 17 inch rims and keep same size tyres but go to slightly more aggressive tyre to get the look I want??

Just need to be careful of the offset of the jester rims

265/65/17 is legal on an MN. 265/70/17 is just over the limit.

You can go bigger if you get an engineer to sign off on it but that involves additional grief and expense.
