18" Wheels & Tyre Querie

Gday,

just wondering if anyone on the forum has 18" Wheels on their Triton and if so...what brand/size of tyres are you running?

I have had a look and most people only seem to have up to 17".

would love to see some pics.

Appreciate any info on this.

Have a look at reeldreamer's shed. He used to run 18's with Nitto Trail-Grappler MT's in a 33" tyre from memory.

Bumping an old thread as there's not a lot of talk about 18" wheels on here (perhaps for good reason! )

I need new tyres for the stock 17" GLX-R rims, but am tossing up the idea of going to an 18" for a slightly better look, but still maintaining some off road ability through a decent set of AT tyres.

These are 18x9.0 Lenso RT-Concaves from the Tempe site, but unsure of offset or tyre specs. This is the sort of look I had in mind though.



Edit: Looking at Tempe's wheel/tyre packages for a similar Lenso wheel, they have a +20 offset and 265/60/18 tyre.

Sure do! I assume those tyres are D697s by the looks, which Tempe can do for $299ea on an 18" wheel/tyre package

They also do the Hankook RF10's for $219 ea in 265/60/18 (114T). So works out at about $1850 for a set of these with the Hankooks. I'm pretty tempted...
