Increase from 205R16 to 265/75R16

Need something to get you rolling?

Increase from 205R16 to 265/75R16

Well hello guys,

My question is this: I bought the 2015 2.5L (Non turbo) 4x4 manual. It came with the 205R16 (literally this is what is written on the tire wall) and I want to go to 265/75R16. Aside from the odometer reading and higher fuel consumption, what else am I looking at?

Will the truck feel different? lose power?

Thanks in advanced!

Yes it will lose power. If towing i would recommend avoiding the 265/75r16. The 265 65r16 is much more clutch friendly. If you aren't planning on much towing they are a great size tyre.
Where do you live? I dont think they do a 2.5 without a turbo in Australia where lots of us are from.
I only drink on days starting with T... Today and Tomorrow

Do you mean 265/70/16? (not 265/65/16)
