Free or cheap tyre fitting/swap Brisbane?

Postby lachy773 on Wed Mar 09, 2016 4:24 pm

Hi I've got a new set of tyres on rims but want to put them on my alloy rims on my truck which still have the dunlops from factory. Wondering if anyone in Brisbane can swap them over for me for a carton of beer? :)

Most tyre places will do this and balance them as well for not much more than a carton.

If work is so terrific, why do they have to pay us to do it?

I get tyres stripped from wheels, then refitted and rebalanced quite regularly and I pay $15/wheel.

OK, so I'm a regular customer but that's a big difference from $40 each. Maybe try shopping around a bit?

I usually pay
$5 per strip
$5 per fit
$5 per balance
I get it cheap

So you are looking at
2 strips
1 fit
1 balance
1 disposal
You can do the maths at cheap rates.

I sometimes do the tyre removal and fit at home to keep in practice :D
