Just wondering what Front Struts and rear shockers triton owners are running and their thoughts about what they are running??
As i'm deciding on what to buy. Just wondering if the Raw or tough dog shockers are any good?

I have tough dog comforts shocks and coil/leaf front and rear as they were on it when I purchased it. No good for the weight I will be carrying so stripping them out when the new suspension arrives.
Going with Ultimate again as have a good run on my last set.
About 2 weeks I hope :D

Ultimate springs and shocks on both the Triton and the Pajero. Couldn't be happier with service, performance and value. :D

The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything important, it's too late to stop reading it.

Dobinsons front and rear. Got nearly 70000 km out of the front before one leaked. I was happy enough with their performance that I got a second set.

Monster Rides ReKon front and rear with Dobinsons rear leafs. Got them back when they had only recently been released by MR so figured I would give em a go. Very happy, good balanced ride that soaks up the bumps with ease. Ultimate or MR would be a pretty safe bet but geez the DMS stuff looks good too.

Using OME nitrocharger struts and shocks using the stock coil springs and leafsprings

I'm very happy with them specially when I did a 1400 kilometer trip via paved and rough roads with 3 passengers and fully laden bed. The rig did not sag nor bounce too much when I hit potholes in dark roads.

Now at 85000 kilometers and I see one shock with a light leak, I'm considering other options like Dobinsons, Tough Dog or Ironman. Considering a 2 inch lift also by changing the stock front coil springs and rear leafsprings.
If it ain't worth fixing, throw it away!!!

Monroe Gas-Magnum shocks with stock springs (helper springs in rear). Did the Talawana Track and Sandy Blight Track in July, no problems.

Mate how does your rear end handle with aftermarket shocks and standard springs? I'm running on a super tight budget and thinking of doing the same as you.
(p.s. I drive the 32km of winding road to Mt Hotham for work everyday and need decent handling).
