Leaf Spring Differences

Postby ozbobber550 on Mon Apr 27, 2015 9:45 am

My 06 ML Dual cab rear springs have flattened out and I can get a low km set off a friend that was left over from a lift kit install. They are from a ML 2wd Cab Chassis. Will they fit into my dual cab 4wd ?

The part number on them is 4150A098

Thanks in advance

Will they fit? Probably, given that they're the same chassis. May be different rates though.

Why not ask the experts? Give Ultimate Suspension (in the Forum Sponsors section) a call and find out for sure.

If work is so terrific, why do they have to pay us to do it?

A mate of mine fitted my old OME front struts and rear springs out of my 4WD dual cab into his 2WD "Hi Rider" tray back single cab Triton. The 40mm lift had sagged considerably on my DC but lifted his lighter SC heaps from what he had.

As the 5th said above the spring rate may be different. It is not a big job to change the rears so give it a go!
