Body Lift Info

Postby Jimy89 on Fri Jun 12, 2015 8:13 am

Hey guys, i know this is a bit of a touchy subject and its been done to death.
Im just about to do a 2" body lift on my truck and from what I've read so far, people want to know what size bolts to use.

So these are all the standard sizes.

All 6 cab bolts are M10 100mm long

All tub bolts are M12x1.25
Front 2 are 30mm long
Middle 2 are 40mm long
Rear 2 are 50mm long

If doing body lift on a Dual cab, Also be wary of the front tub bolts, You may need to shave a few mm off the side of your lowering block to clear the bracket on the underside of the tub to get the bolts to line up straight

bolts are cheap and easy too find.

Thanks mate, yeah I just machined up some from the Black nylon at work. About 2" diameter, bolts are the easy bit, just take that list to any bolt shop. And as I was saying with the other bit, youll have to grind a 10mm flat on one side of two block for the front of the tub to get it to fit properly without making your bolts go on the piss. :D
