When we measured it the fuel light was on
I dont have a prob with 10-15mm, but 25-30 is getting out of hand.
Quite easily notice it while sitting in the drivers seat.
Talked to Martin today. He is making some calls to the factory and getting back to me tomorrow. Will keep you all posted.

I did a test today.... I had 1/4 of a tank and took a ride height measurement and the passenger rear was 15mm lower than the driver rear. On my way home I filled the tank and measured again. Both sides dropped 5mm. So the rears were equally effected by the fuel load.
My utes front end is fairly even, are you also having the front drop on the passenger side as well?

We couldn't all be getting dodgy springs and all putting them on the same side!
Why are our Tritons not on the level????

Hey people, without wanting to start a debate on the issue, is there any particular reason for going Dobinsons over Iron Man?

My only reason: I heard on here early in the piece that Ironman are Chinese made. I'm not even sure if that was confirmed.
I'd rather have a full bottle in front of me than a full frontal labotomy!

I can't answer that myself, because companies are always changing their products, you can use this post as a guide to who else you look at and enquire with.

Its the awning being up so high.
You need a highlift jack on the drivers side to compensate.

(said sort of in jest) how much does the awning weigh?

Hey buzzy it could be a combination of things eg; these utes tend to be a bit low on the pass side then add the awning up high might be the prob .
One thing you could try is swap the front struts from left to right to see if it levels out cause if the pass spring is a bit sagged it should compansate out

This may be a dumb question, but could it be to compensate for the driver?

There will always be a driver so maybe thats why there is a tilt?

Can I offer another dumb question or observation here:

Are the coils labeled left or right ?

Are the leafs labeled left or right ?

Was the tilt existing with std oem coils and leafs ?

The answer was probably on P4 of this thread but your initial install measurements of the kit should be your bench mark.

Comments:

There should not be a tilt at all, how would that be safe. I remember our Sierras leaning to the right, I still seem them and other brands today doing the same, back then we just made a longer shackle for that side to even up as we had already lifted them 3+", there is no way I would do that today though.

Hey just measured my Rear and i have a 5mm differnece.

DR - 635
PR - 635

Also if possible can some one measure the overall length of the dobinson supplied shackle e.g centre of pin to centre of pin.. Im just running the factory shackles atm and i seem to be measuring 20mm under most of you.

Patto, what load rated rear leafs did you put on ? They have different ones for different loads which I know you know but just in case the info you get off someone should be compared like with like.

Also, I hear that when the leafs are made some manufactures will then test the springs, like moving them 800 times or so, not each spring can be exactly the same so they will then put matches/pairs together after measuring the post test condition. So what you actually get as a height increase over std of say 50mm for some kits may be a minimum, a guide but can differ and not guaranteed.

I am not sure how true this all is and also how stock is stored on shelves, in pairs or bundles etc. for what is then taken off and installed on our trucks.

I really like your truck Subi.

I think the secret is starting with the right colour ;)

If mine wasn't mainly a city driver I'd follow your lead with the tyres.
I was going to 265/70's when mine wear down but am thinking 75's might be the go.
The aggressive tread pattern looks tuff but I really chase wet weather road performance as a major priority.

P.S Didn't mean to hijack.
