strut failure kms

Sorry in advance if this has been covered before.
What sort of kms have people been getting out of front struts with a steel bullbar?
Only Asking as I have had a left front lose it's gas and they have done at roughly 50k.
But I suspect that it may have failed earlier due to tire wear ect .
Struts are dobinsons twin tube gas struts.
Im was looking at the dobinsons mrr range as a replacement has anyone tried them]?
Only asking as I can get dobinsons at a good price but I'm happy to pay more for longer lasting shocks if need be.

Yes they are.
This set have done 90000 untroubled but have not copped the abuse the last set did.
I treat this ute a lot better

XGS Gold front shocks from TJM lasted 62,000K's (out of their warranty by 2000K's and 12 months).
One Simpson crossing and maybe another 5.000K on outback gravel.

Previous OEM shocks lasted 130,000K and did two trips from Tassie to the tip of Cape York/Oodnadatta/Strezlecki/Birdsville Tracks and Plenty Highway.
