Tritonasaurus you're getting ripped for sure I reckon. Call the guys at sydney and brisbane and check their prices shipped then shop for an installer somewhere. Price to install should be around $300 incl alignment

Just measured mine with ironmans in front. I get 600mm on one side and 610mm on the other (must be uneven ground). Not sure about the rear... Its a tray back, so not mutch point in comparison.

So far, so good. The front is a little stiff though, but I suppose that is to be expected. Ironman make an a, b, and c version of the kit going from soft to hard. I got the c (constant load) upfront as I run a winch, and steel bullbar, and b for the rear as I normally carry only a little weight. Having done the installation myself I have to say the fronts have some serious springs! They make a joke of my spring pullers, and I had to use a hydraulic press to get hem on in the end. Never seen anything like that before :-)

I got a quote from a mob on the net as followsHi Andy I recommend EFS Leafs including bush kit, U bolts and Gr Hangers and Dobinsons struts, shocks and coils. The price all together comes to $1215 and I will do freight for free for you. You will have to find a local mechanic to fit them for you. I have now put this stuff on my web site but with no pics. CheersShaneThis was from https://www.suspensionstuff.com.au/shop/

I also got his quote for Dobinsons

Hi Andy,
We are doing a 2” suspension lift for the ML Triton, the cost for the kit is $1200.00.

The kit includes: Front Coils

Front Struts

Rear Leaf Springs

Rear Shocks

Rear poly bushes

Rear Greasable Shackles

Rear U-bolts

With the lifted kit some vehicles have had a vibration present at initial acceleration, to compensate for this we are also selling 3 degree castor wedges & $ 22.00 each 2 are required, these wedges improve the vibration.

Rick

I saw from your pics that the C rear looks like some serious metal? I was more interested in getting good articulation in the rear with relatively small loads, so I decided to go with the B, which seems just right for what I want. Do you run a winch/bar in front? If not don't you find the C a bit heavy for the front?

I have to say the components exceeded my expectations for quality. The shocks are top notch, and for under $900 for the whole kit its fantastic value! The only problem I had was that the leaf springs did not have any holes for the bracket that holds the brake lines. I had to drill and tap some holes for this witch wasn't a big job. It was hard work fitting it all, but worth doing so you can get a good look at how it all fits together, and where potential areas of weakness may be.

Buzzy, is that a 2 inch lift, and for that price was it the whole kit ie shocks front & rear springs?
And do pedders handle dodinsons across the country?
I was qouted $2050 doe ARB Shepperton which was a bit rich and about 1200 for ironman but the made in china thing worrys me, how do you rate them? :-)

Good so far gfm. That price was for everything.
I think all Pedders shops will get them for you but if you organise it yourself direct from Dobinsons you can cut out the middle man (Pedders). That way they dont put their 15% on the Dobinson's price and you can get it cheaper.

Ah yeh 2"

An update from dobinson
Andy,

We have several customers in Newcastle, Singleton and one in Lemon Tree Passage, if these are accessible to you alternately we could freight the kit to you and you could have your local Mechanic install it for you.

Delivery charge approximately $50.00

Best Regards,

Martin.

Silver, have you ridden in one with 2" lift? 4" would be massive mate and I don't really see the need personally but hell put some big tyres under there and it'll look crazy. tuff triton has 2+2 suspension and body + 35" tyres and was saying he regretted it on a daily driver and I could see why climbing that much higher.

I suppose his total lift would be 7" with those tyres though.

Austblue nah never been in a triton with 2 inch lift just was wanting more i guess it because my last 4wd was a gq wagon with 4inch lift and 33 and i know it went everywhere i wanted it to go. i Just want the similar lift in the triton as i don't want to damage the tube as they have a longer rear overhang. I'm running 32 at the moment which was a good lift and going to get a 2inch lift next week.
Cheers
