@ Escapist, you must remember the fuel tank is on the passenger side, was it full when you measured :?

Quirk of the vehicle. Mine listed a little, although I'll admit not 30mm, and still did it after swapping spring leaves from side to side. Just one of life's little mysteries, I guess. ;)

Thanks guys,

Tank was half full when measured. I saw Brendans post Dave. Mine's 30mm lower, that'll do! :) I dont want to raise the rear any more as I won't get under my carport or in the garage  . Might measure again when the tank is empty. If its still out I'll try swapping the springs over - hadn't thought of that!

Try also loosening the shackle off on the RR. If the shackles are overtightened in the air, the bush can bind and hold that side of the vehicle up. It's the first thing we check in cases like this ;)

Awesome, thanks Brendan. I'll have a look tomorrow night. I just did them up - not sure how tight!

I spoke with regency park earlier this week to get some figures. They have the ml triton standard height in the front at 566mm which is great for us in south Australia as we can only have a total lift of 50mm. Mine is sitting at 615mm though haha just thought I would share the exact measurement our cars sit at (apparently) :)

The ute was on grass at the time. 585 would be my expected outcome of re-measurement.

Had a dobinsons kit done Friday. Only measures one side.

Front: 560mm
Rear: 630mm

Sorta expected more in the front, was advised not to put in the heaviest springs in the front, have bull bar and spotties but no winch. Im expecting it will drop a little before I take it back in 1000kms for a check so might have a chat then.

Rides much better though.

I have dobinsons front same as you, ride was heaps better than standard and ironman kit,has sagged almost an inch on the front though, about 3years on and looking at new kit, shoulda gone heavy in the front.... Just my opinion.

I have dobinsons comfort springs in the front of mine except fitted by ultimate. When I added the bar and winch they were able to add a raised seat on the strut so I kept the same springs and ride etc but didn't have to put up with the droop from the weight. Another option to consider down the track maybe.

Dobinsons recommended and installed it so I'll quiz them when I got back. Draw marks on the wall where I park it before I left home that morning and it's only up about 15-20mm in the front. I'll see how it goes.

Might look into that, thanks! Although I reckon the struts haven't had an easy life so I'd say they are had it after about 90k anyway. Was on the phone to ultimate last week....

Due to go get suspension 1000km check up tomorrow, front sitting at 550mm FR 560mm FL
Rear is pretty even 625-630 each. Does the front seems wrong? I thought it would sit higher don't want to sound like an idiot whinging tomorrow.

Edit: got a 2inch dobinson lift, bullbar spotties on the front, advised against heaviest spring so thinking I should have got that.

might be worth giving Brendan a call & checking your options.

The common consensus around here is to do all the bar work before doing the sussy

Just fitted my new ultimate suspension 2inch lift. With ARB Delux front and rear bars, Iron Man Bash plates, and under bonnet dual batteries. Fitted heavy duty front coils and comfort rear springs.
Ride heights now sit at 610 FR and FL, and 620 at the rear.

That sounds high, do you have flares on your wheel arches?
