I recon if you fit the 'C' kit on a Triton without winch, and steel bull bar you will get more than 50mm, but the spring rate won't be right, and I don't think it would be good for your CV joints. 50mm is plenty IMHO.

I tend to agree with you zlujack...but if we can get more than 50mm lift without comprimising flex and cv joints then why not go for it??

I will be getting my lift within a few weeks...(waiting on funds) and i will post some pics once its complete...

fireball where are you located? I got mine for mutch cheaper than that. You can mix & match the kits. I got the constant load for the front, and performance for the rear.

I've been thinking about getting the ironman suspension,

Rick how does the arse end handle on corrugations with the constand load? cause with standard setup it bounces around like all hell with no weight in it

I was thinking performance (thats a funny word to use for a lift kit on a fourby) for the rear as I would only ever have around 300kg's in the back & constant for the front

zulu how does it ride with your setup? & is that price $800 for the whole kit fitted?

alright stu, i thought it would be bad as the standard rear end was terrible even over speed bumps but its improved no end, even though it can carry far more weight before it goes down it still seems far far better over bumpy ground and it doesnt lurch on corners on the road

Stu

I'm happy with the way it rides. The rear is a lot better, the damping spot-on, but the front just a tad harsh. This improves cornering IMHO, but you feel more of the bumps. $800 was for the whole kit + greasable shackles. I did the install myself (not recommended).

Fireball,

Write down extactly what is supposed to be in the package from the net, and then write down what you got fitted...and say you want it to match! If you tell them to jam it! 8-)

rang ironman and talked to a tech. told them i had rear comfort shocks and performance leafs.

he reckons that setup actually would suit my needs better ie 4wd /camping , occassional towing since my tray isnt really ever loaded up on a day to day basis.

if i was a workman with the tray loaded up , then i would have needed the constant leafs at the back

it seems to drive fine on the road. no shudder or sqeaks.
told the workshop about it. said i'll see how it goes, if not then change the leafs.

1200 all up fitted driveaway from tyrepower

Thats what i got quoted from Bobs Bridgestone here in Hervey Bay...but the lift i told i was getting was around 60 - 80mm no problem! Thats front and back...and he reckons with the max 80mm lift 35's would fit!

I told him he must be dreaming, cause tuff triton has 35's with 2" suspension lift and 2" body...

So i dont know aye...would be sick if ya could thou.
