3.2l
what happens if I run out of diesel? Do you have to bleed them the old school way by cracking an injector or anything?
Cheers

Nope. Just pump up the little hand pump on the fuel filter til it gets hard and the rest should sort itself out. From memory there is a bleed screw on the filter housing but I've not seen anyone needing to rely on it.

I ran my ute out of fuel just the other day... You'd be surprised how long you can drive it for with the fuel light on!

She literally stalled as I pulled into the servo not even joking, rolled into the bowser in silent mode... Very funny moment.

Anyway I just filled it up (took 77.3ltrs) and used the manual primer until it was too stiff to push any more, it does take a few minutes. Took about 5 long seconds of turn key cranking for it to fire up, all good happy days

Just be mindfull that its worth trying to refuel when your light comes on or even better keep it above a quarter tank as the fuel provides cooling for the injectors.

This just created a thought; the new Rangzda has a fuel cooler and from memory also has a plastic tank. The Triton's metal tank may help shed heat whereas the poly tanks are too insulated and therefore require the external cooler.

Ok sweet... I have a long range tank, each time I fill up takes about 110 liters, apparently it's a 120l tank and the fuel light comes on at 800 kms
