fuel issue

Hi Guys

Im in a bit of a pickle.
I got hung up in my MN triton and I assume the pickup got air into the line. The motor didnt stop but I turned it off just afterwards. It was idling at this point.
20 mins later I went to restart the car wouldnt. This is when I found that I had lost prime.
I bled up to the filter, then bled to the diesel pump. Then it has been a shambles from this point.
A friend that is a diesel mechanic came over and worked on it then diagnosed that the SCV has more than likely shat the tin. Code was P0628 within the ECU.
I have just replace the SCV and got a bit of diesel squirting out of the pump outlet but not that much.
Still broken down in the bush.....
Anyone got an idea before I get a match?

Check the harness and connection at the SCV first. A damaged harness or a poor connection can give you the same error.

If work is so terrific, why do they have to pay us to do it?

It ended up being that the key dropped the imobilisation key.
It was initially the fuel issue of losing prime but when I used the second key it fired up straight away.
At least it has a new SCV and I have a spare in the shed I suppose.....

What has the faulty key been through? Not much in there that should go wrong as far as immobilisation is concerned.

One minute it worked, the next it didnt.
The manual states that heaps of things can muck up a key.
I live in a spot that the radiowaves go around.... need a signal booster to use my phone.
Could have been the electric fence energizer, you never know....
Strange things happen out here in drop bear country :?
