So ya gotta wonder;

If the ecu is occasionally doing self calibrations - then why does a MUTT session provide a noticeable difference?

Do manufacturers plant a decaying algarythim in the ecu to encourage you back for service at some stage?

Open programming gear would be solo good.
Don't let the b'strds get you down!!

Hi all, I am currently doing a sql on my triton using a generic scan tool. It seams to be taking forever. Does anyone know how long it should take?

EDIT: Finally finished, took about 1.5 hrs

To have a tapper adjustment done the mech has to remove the injector fuel lines this should only be done five times then the steel injector lines must be replaced, if these leak and the mech doesn't do a leak check on the ECU then fuel maybe diluting the oil, this will obviously thin out the oil causing a knocking noise after a driving for a while. One other possibility is truck diesel of bio diesel mix with lower octane causing your diesel knock that's if you don't find anything else.
