115,000, more than 90% of that driven barefoot so it's not like I'm grinding it away with dirt/gravel etc...

Sorry Blue. I've seen that on a few used ones, plus the leather on steering wheels and gearknobs deteriorating. Seems fairly common.

Apparently the VR ones don't do it. :P Oh! just remembered that was the difference between VR and GLX-R. Glad I saved the $2500 or so.

My pedals are doing this as well, and are a lot worse than yours at 65,000kms :(

When it goes in for the clock-spring to be done, I'll get them to look at the pedals, because this is crap...

My glxr came with rubber pedals. I guess this was another cost saving measure. Makes me feel less sporty seeing these though.

50,000 kms and pedals, st wheel and gear knob still look brand new.

But I do clean them regularly....

Keep the dirt and grit out of things and they don't wear so much.

Imagine how big the hole in your arse would be if you didn't wash it regularly

You can learn so much stuff on this forum. I had no idea I should be regularly polishing my knob.

Now there's a stupid comment...!!!

Really, is it unreasonable to expect the fit out to at least last as long as the warranty period...??? Considering to meet roadworthy standards (in Vic), the clutch/brake/accelerator pedals must not be split, overly worn or damaged, I think it's more than reasonable to expect replacement within the warranty period...

Blue i have seen heaps with worn pedals, but have never seen them replaced under warranty. The stainless bit just sits over the pedal anyway. Take them off and put standard rubber ones on...

I've been a city boy my entire driving life, Mooons, never had pedals, or leather wheel/gear knob deteriorate like the mitsu items...

And why does pedal come out as 'peDDal' when I comment from the tablet...???
