Mine is worse then that. Will have to hit them up. I thought paint wasn't covered

Mine did that 12 months in. Thought it wasn't covered. I'm used to it now.

I have an Oct 2006 ML and patches on the bonnet and roof have gone the same way (including the tail gate surround). These started appearing when I was 12 months out of warranty.

My tailgate has just been noticed... Yep, count me in after 7yrs. :-(
