chip, exhaust, then snorkel (but only if you are going through water crossings)
This car is like a bad drug habit. It is taking all my money and time, my family are concerned, but new mods just feel sooooooo good.

Why not, it would be good for long downhill runs like Mt Ousley.

Its been proven by a few members that the exhaust upgrade is a waste if you don't chip! Some have experienced over boosting issues with larger exhausts too, though this is rare... The standard exhaust is more than enough for a stock mn Triton.
From my experience if you chip it before the exhaust upgrade you can run the risk of having dangerously high EGTs... Not all these 2.5 motors are exactly the same out of the factory so keep that in mind. If you go chip first I strongly urge you to install a EGT probe on the standard dump to keep an eye on things... I used to see 750 degrees with chip and standard exhaust under load easy. Your 3" exhaust will get the heat away better and make use of the higher tune from the chip.;-). As for the snorkel... If in the near future you are planning to drive through deep mud holes or the unexpected swollen river crossing then the choice is obvious. ;-)

You could just buy it and leave it in the shed till you can afford the chip then install all at once...
