What were your warranty claims and recall information

Gear Box oil recall

Hi , I just booked my ML my08 in for it's 15000 service and they told me the triton has a recall on gear box oil any one hear of this ?
And does any one now why ?

Gearbox oil :? I dont understand.
Are they talking about the oil that was put in the car from factory?? :?

Here is the info I got,
W1.Campaign 020080- Transmission oil
W1. Carried out recall 020080
Drained and Flushed and Filled T/Case and GearBox oils

spoke to mits today and they said some CLOWN in the factory,had put auto fluid in T/CASE AND GEARBOX AT FACTORY,so no biggie it relates to about 2years ago and letters were sent to the owners 8-) problem solved

Have you got any more dope on it? I'm running out of warranty! Is there a range of VIN's?

got the 90000km coming up in about a week....

I spoke to my stealer and the said my 07 wasn't affected and was quite a narrow range of vehicles...
