Warranty - Where can I take it

I am moving a little further north by the end of the month. If my car has any further warranty issues can I just take it to the nearest Mitsubishi Dealership for repairs or does it need to go to the dealer I purchased it from?

On this topic, does anyone know what the deal is about getting the warranty book stamped for the extended warranty (5-10 year)?

I've heard different stories about this and was wondering if anyone could make it clear?

You have 10 years on the drive train unless it's sold, not transfererable.
The full warranty is 3 years but can be extended to 5 years by taking the books into a dealer in the last 6 months of the first 3 years. Weird but true.
