Recall steering job just done - not happy at all

Postby Urshtnme on Sat Mar 15, 2008 1:16 pm

Had the Triton in for the recall job on the steering over the last couple of days.

I've been out and about over the last few hours and getting a worse knock in the steering now, feels like it's loose and could fall apart. I can really feel it and hear it when off road to.

Anyone else had this recall job done yet?

Scuba, there's a recall on the steering colume but they won't replace it unless you tell them to.

Yeah Boris, I'm calling the guys that did mine today, it's all loose and the steering is heavier.

I'd wait, if you've got no issues, then leave it for now

Yeah if it ain't broke don't fix it! Don't follow the engineer's credo "if it ain't broke it ain't got enough mods!"
