Coolant Flush

Postby brownegaz on Mon Feb 20, 2012 4:04 pm

My 2.5 MN is due a coolant flush, has anyone done this themselves at home, the radiator hoses look like being a real pain to get at, I plan to drop the bottom hose then flush the engine out through the top hose connection I assume the thermostat is where the top hose connects to the cylinder head.

Make sure you either completely flush out the old coolant or replace with genuine coolant. My radiator ended up 1/3 blocked internally due to mixed coolants
I'm not so good with the advice  ... Can I interest you in a sarcastic comment???
