Where to get manifold carbon cleaned brisbane?

Hi All

I suspect I have very bad carbon build up in my inlet manifold (new style with sensor moved) on my 3.2, Just wanted to know if anyone could recommend somewhere good northside of brisbane to get it cleaned and the EGR blanked off

Ron at Motorcare (www.motorcare.com.au) is really good. Not saying he'll blank ur EGR, but he's a good mech.

mate that is one serious first post brother, have a little read and get your head around all the problems of a diesel,including the triton cause they all suffer. Blanking the egr wont solve the problem and a little background work would be smart,because mate you only joined yesterday, so anyway where are you from my man

mad I thought it was common knowledge that blanking the egr goes a long way to help slow down the carboning issue for the inlet manifolds.egr blank along with another small mod of choice to prevent throwing a code ect will reduce carbon buildup considerably...yes there are other avenues but the blank is an easy mod to do at home

Hondon ,the question was northside of brisbane to get the manifold cleaned ,then get the egr blanked so as a first poster, i will answer to ollie get To EAGERS and ask for LEE or start reading up before posting

I've read most of the threads on here about the carbon build up I've also talked to a few mechanics about it including mitsubishi who recommended blanking the ERG (they also sed they never sed that) and going with the drilling a hole in the blanking plate method to remove the CEL. Most places had a different way of cleaning the manifold some sent it away to get chemically dipped and some just put a bit of elbow grease in and hand cleaned it, so if anyone has had someone clean there manifold in Brisbane and thay did a good job for a good price let me know so I can get it done!

Mike Vine Turbo Capalaba - he will do your EGR mod and put it on the Dyno and wind up the pump if you have the $$$ . He is the turbo specialist in Brisbane diesel & petrol .
