Power Steering Flush

Postby bseymore on Fri Jul 17, 2009 9:04 am

My stealer has suggested a power steering flush at a cost of $150. I have done about 27,000 KLM. Has anyone else come across this? or are they just trying to get more money out of me next service?

I take it they didn't specifically test the fluid then, which probably means it is just an add on for profit seeing as it also isn't a known problem.

If you're concerned you could drain and refill it yourself for probably $50 or so but I wouldn't bother.... gotta love new car warranty's ;)
I hate to advocate drugs, sex, alcohol, violence, or insanity to anyone, but they’ve always worked for me.
