ECU reflash

Postby Tritium on Thu Sep 01, 2011 9:58 pm

Just had the latest ECU reflash which was released about 2 weeks ago and am surprised to find that my mid 2000rpm surging has almost disappeared. 2008 ML manual 3.2. No chips, catchcan or blanks.

ECU reflash

That's good to hear you've had a win.

I had my MN 2.5 Auto given new manifolds and re flash last week and the surging at 2000 RPM while under load has come back with a vengeance.

It's going back in on Monday.

Loath that car !!!

Mine is going in for a couple of fixes in a week or so and I asked them to do this reflash as well - no worries!

My 07 had a huge injector rattle on acceleration. Sent to dealer to get reflash done. Fixed the problem, runs awesome now. Quiet as!! :D

ECU reflash

It looks like it might be good for the 3.2 and not the 2.5.
Would it be the same one that they use one both models?

ECU reflash

I've had it on mine and it seems okay. Got my old surge back though but maybe not an ecu problem there.
