Hi harl05l, thanks for the positive feedback It's a mitsubishi canopy. The only problems we have had with it are the catches on the side winows didn't line up so they wouldn't lock and we had the rear locking mechanism replaced under warranty cos that broke and the catches that hold the rear window/door closed were out of alignment so the rear window would fly open when we were driving but it is all fixed now. Haven't really tried it out in dust yet and one of the rear seals leaks a bit of water but silicone should fix that. Apart from that we are quite happy with it.

Ours has been back in 5 times for re-alignment of the canopy and the handle lock broke on the canopy so that had to be replaced. they had to take the whole canopy off and re-align and now the catches aren't shutting again. i am sick of going into Mitsubishi and now want it replaced. maybe whoever is re-aligning just isn't doing it properly but we are not happy. I wish I had waited and bought the Razorback (they were all out of stock). We had problems with the canopy when car was only 2 weeks old!!

When I was sealing the deal on my vehicle, the salesman at the stealers told me not to get the genuine canopy because they all had problems. He said something about them all being warped and never working properley. He strongly recommended getting an aftermarket one and said that they could organise getting it and fitting it prior to delivery.
My work also has two tritons with genuine canopies and they both have major problems closing even after many a visit to get them fixed as well.

Been a while since I have added anything to my build thread.. slack I know. Have been too busy out enjoying the car We have just taken delivery of our new long range tank and are looking at installing it next Saturday (25th August). I am wondering if I put on a BBQ lunch and a few beers if anyone would like to come round and give us a hand/ offer support or heckle from the stands Hopefully it will be a straightforward install as we have a Birthday party to go to that night

Sounds good! Now you can make ti vic trips a bit easier no stopping!

I installed the one made by Auto Systems and it was a VERY easy swap!!! The hardest bit is removing the old and lifting up the new! 2 person job, or a car jack! Just make sure you got a near empty tank, and some new fuel to go in ready
