At least its good to know the tub is protected tho

This is a good shot of how my UHF is fitted. Uniden UH7760N.

The rest of the unit is nicely hidden up behind the dash with the fuses

Also got my NTN stickers so i will get around to fitting the small one soon, the larger one will be waiting for a canopy.

Good stuff trumpy :)

It's an eye sore to start with but you will get used to it ;) , and in comparison to the arb job the tjm has far better protection, trust me 8-)

We can test it friday if you show up

Not sure how I missed this build...

Definitely a tough looking truck, amazing what the wheels and tyres did even before all the other gear went on.

I have to agree with Reeldreamer, best looking glx on NTN

Thanks guys. I picked up a fridge today at the caravan, camping etc show. Cant wait to find a way to mount it in the tray (well that sounds kinda weird :? :? )

Also got a canopy and dual battery set up ordered so hopefully its all ready for the Bylong trip.

That was the idea of the guy who fitted it for me (for a bottle of Jim Beam :) ) He did a great job tho.

This is definitely one of the best looking GLX's out there. The tyres make a huge difference to the stance of the vehicle on its own, and the colour coded white bar looks fantastic. Do you get much glare off the bar from the high-beams?

See the build up of my old Triton here.

Thnks mate. To be honest Fraz, its not that bad on reflection. It is really starting to sag tho especially in the rear so that has to be sorted.

Really nice Triton mate, I've just bought a new 2012 GLX (not yet delivered) & I'm wanting a similar set of wheels. After reading many threads on this forum there seems to be offset issues with fitting a set of Sunraysia's or similar to a Triton, can I ask what brand wheels you have & did you have any issues fitting them?

Thanks Chris. I didnt have any issues, i think my offset was 30 and (until the bullbar sagged the front end) i had no issues with size even with the 32's on. They only scrub now at a certain amount of lock on the plastic inner guards and that is due to the way the inners were cut when the bullbar was fitted moreso than the actual suspension droop.

I just went to a local tyre shop and they organised the rims, so i cant remember what exact brand they are sorry mate.

The white that Mitsubishi do the Tritons in always looks so deep, and yes your colourcoded front bar looks fantastic :-)
