The clip in the vent at very top so I can still adjust the direction of air. A bit of fiddling but it is stable enough.

The chip does improve the power, like a frog in a sox :)

It came with tune 5 on it but I'm not sure if this is right for engine that doesn't have lots of mods.

All it has now is the EGR blanking plate and waste gate arm lengthen. Maybe I will try tune 4 see if there is a difference.

Maybe get a 3" pipe at some stage.

Got some MASS sensor cleaner from s.creep and cleaned the little build up I had of grime off the probe. Works well.

No noticeable performance increase, economy wise will have to wait and see.

flexiglass canopy

Postby RaMpAgE on Fri Nov 18, 2011 4:35 pm

So I have removed the hard lid and sports bar and put the tub in, what a job in a half, found out that the front bar mounts were both broken :?

And some pics of the painted and finished canopy at last, they did a really good job fitting it and sourcing missing hardware to mount it.
Only thing I need to do is get some new window rubbers as the original ones have shrunk a little, so I will replace those next week.

Had to get a new tongue for the tow bar as the boat and trailer sit a bit high after the lift and tyres, it is one of those adjustable ones for height.

Can you see it.......its in the middle of pic on right side :D :D :D

Difference is that your old socket is 6 point and not 12 point like the new one.
Thats why I only use impact sockets which are 6 point

The bladder for the washer fluid as the original was removed as it sat in the left guard which isn't there anymore.

The 3" scotts exhaust system.

A real pita as the lower turbo nut/bolt was really hard to get to and took a loooong time to remove.
A 3-4 hour job.

I don't know what people are on about. That colour has always looked fantastic. Great job. I'd get an Xrox bar in a flash as they look great, except I need a bar predominantly to keep kangaroos from landing on my bonnet where I live so don't think they will afford enough protection for me
