The 4wdsupplies snorkel was finally installed on Saturday, a big thanks to Ratstriton for his help and directing the day, not to mentioned driving back home to get his 'sharp' hole saws and how can I forget dans help as well.

All in all the day went well, the template was well out so we decided to drill the first outer hole then manually mark the individual bolt holes.

Another tip, count all your tools after the install, Sunday morning when I replaced the plastic bits for the flare I started the truck to find a serve rattle, after stressing that somehow I did something wrong on the install i found a 300mm rasp file standing up on the bash plate leaning against the fan.

I hope everyone enjoyed the day :)

Did anyone else have trouble tightening the top bolts near the pillar, we ended up welding this up to reach.

This is a temp fix, I used one of the spare bottle bolts to screw into the existing radiator nut, it's actually very secure and just clears the bonnet.

I'm calling safari tomorrow and checking eBay for a permanent fix though.

Nearly installed dan, just need to do the side wings, the quality of the drawers are great and the fridge slide is great, pulled the table out a few times just because, and that will come in extremely handy. The table can be pulled the whole way out (folding legs) or used as a bench
