Shreks GLX/R - Home made drawers

Here is my attempt at some custom draws

Hosts
1 x 57 ltr water tank
1 x 10 ltr per hour micro switch water pump
2 x 100 amp hour deep cycle batteries
2 x 50 amp anderson plugs - For fridges
2 Draws that can be used as draws or fridge slides ( Eg - 1 fridge / 1 freezer )

Awesome stuff. Is is secured to the tray with bolts? Or just under its own weight?

thanks guys

It was a larger project than i first thought. It morphed several times during the build

Its bolted using the original tray anchor points - Hi tensile bolts

I'm impressed 8-)......they look as good if not better than anything you could buy.....but probably built betterer ;)

Where did you get the slides and how much were they. What lenght did you use?

thanks guys for the positive comments :D

I'm very happy with the result.. I looked around at commercial draws, but they did not measure up to what i needed & cost me half the price.

The runners were brought from Ebay - 900mm x 100kg load .. i brought 2 sets for around $150 delivered.

I built my own draws too, my slides were from Hafele (kitchen cabinet accesories manufacturer) 1200 long, rated to 120lbs,think they cost $130,that was 4 years ago. Well worth the effort, they have served me well! Nice job Shrek!!

Another question mate. Where did you get the tank from? Do you have a link?

Nice work on the camper. Colour scheme brings it well up to date

bet it was heaps cheaper than a new one. Squares of ends are smick
