The Low beam is a H7 globe. I will do some research and see if I can retro fit a switch to utilise the levelling function. Then it would be legal to convert to HID !!!

Also, The Brindabellas are pretty under rated, I have mapped most of it now and found some pretty gnarly tracks that some people are completely unaware of.

motoz wrote:So I've got everything installed the day before we head to Tassie. I fitted a 40lt Boab Polly water tank against the headboard. I fitted a constant pressure Sureflow inline pump. It's self priming and pressurises to 35psi.
Add 3m of retractable braided hose and we've got water on demand...
I wired up a 6 outlet switch panel to control lights, pump, 2 x 12v outlets and on board air. The SJS canopy has quite a large sweep of the rear window. As such it took a little messing around to get the drop slide running smooth.
All up I'm very happy with how it all came together. I'm sure there will be a little tweaking over the next few weeks though that's all part of the fun.

I managed to score a great deal on some new hoops for the Triton. My local Beaurepaiers were offering 20% off and a further 20% being the last day of the month on some family and friends deal.
The end result was 4 x Goodyear Duratrac's fitted, balanced and aligned for $1100. There a fairly aggresive looking AT tyre with side biters and a cool rim protector. They seem to be a popular choice for a lot of mining companies for use on there fleet vehicles so I thought I'd give them a go.
I decided to go back to a 32" so am running them in a 265/75x16. Although the 285's (33") look a lot better there just a hastle and really not worth the headaches on the Triton.
I gave them a real workout on the recent HC trip and was very impressed with their performance on the drive over, in the mud, rocks and gravel roads. I was running them at 38psi on the blacktop and at 24psi off road. After the 3000km trip there was no cuts or chipping. They handled all the greasy climbs and rocks well.

Hi Mate,
Liz again, I notice that these tyres have prob been on for a few years now..how have you gone with them..? I also have the 2 inch ultimate lift and have cooper ST's on. I want a more aggresive looking tyre without going illegal or too big/noisy? These look like they would do the trick for me..look like a muddie but are and aggresive ST..what are they like on sand? Much noise on the road and have they worn well?
